Fresh out of university, Sarah discovered her passion for travel during two months spent on an overland safari in Africa. The continent was definitely her first great love and she has been there five times: from game drives in the Serengeti to climbing sand dunes at sunrise in Namibia, even on an overnight camel trek in Morocco. But it has been the sheer beauty, isolation and vastness of Antarctica which has since captured her heart from when she first travelled there in 2004, and she now rates the Polar Regions as her favourite places on earth
